Word 2007 Can’t Click On the Document

I keep getting this issue with Word 2007. Basically when I open a document, I can’t click anywhere within the document or select any of the document. I can click on the ribbon and status bar not on the document itself. The solution to fix this issue is documented at Microsoft Help and Support.
