Windows_7_MultiTouch_3 Windows 7 offers a new way of controlling your desktop, managing your windows, and launching applications. The Windows 7 Taskbar is a new application-launching and window-switching mechanism that consolidates the functionalities from previous Windows OS Desktop mechanisms such as Quick Launch, Recent Documents, Notification area icons, desktop shortcuts, and running application windows.

I love that light effect that takes the hue from the icon an uses it for the lights behind the icon glass when the user moves over the task bar.

I also like the way the the start button is the same size as the other icons on the task bar

Multiple thumbnails is super cool as you hover over the item. This thing feels like a an ivolution from vista rather than throwing it away and starting it again.

Show desktop is great in the bottom righthand corner. I always lose it on windows xp.

Wow task bar picks up IE tabs and shows both of them... so cool!
