IE9 Beta at uktechdays

7. October 2010 by thebeebs 0 Comments

It’s been interesting watching the tweets and blogs over the last few days, in reaction to the talk that I gave at on Tuesday about IE9. There were some people that were happy to see IE9 beta’s new direction and support for standards and some that wished we’d go even further, some were happy to see us innovate and use pinning some would rather we didn’t.

Whatever your opinion, and my gosh there are there allot of them, I think it’s fair to say that the IE9 Beta is our fastest and most standards compliant browser and demonstrates a new approach to the way that we develop browsers and approach interoperability.

A few people fed back to me that they wanted me to go into further detail about IE9 particularly around JavaScript, feature detection and behaviour detection. I’m currently organising a webcast that will cover these and deeper HTML5 topics. I’ll post further details about these sessions on twitter (@thebeebs) in the coming weeks.

Thanks everyone for watching.
